When he was in Blondie, we were all at this restaurant in Mabuhay, Arturo and I were sitting across the table from him. We noticed that he was grabbing the silverware and bending it, underneath the table, then putting the bent forks and spoons on top of the table. We both looked at each other in amazement. Is this what Blondie’s bass player do to unwind?😂

Wow, so this actually lead to your making the counting animations so many of us saw growing up watching Sesame Street? Neat!

I just discovered this band, and it really is like rediscovering all the music I've been influenced by from the "alt" era all over again. Finding out these guys were a huge influence on Kurt Cobain blew me away. I know a lot of people say "I'll bet we'd be good friends" but I did feel that when I found the interview where he talks these guys up major and I'm like trying to respond to him like "I know, RIGHT!?!?! High five!"

An all time favourite song from an all time favourite album. What a great piece of music history. A tremendously important archive. Thanks for making it available.

This was supposed to be played on the BBC on Top of the Pops but it was boycotted by the union At The BBC because Bill made the video himself at home because he didn't have the backing of a big label. The union said he was doing camera, sound and lighting technicians out of a job. It stopped it charting higher than it did.
